Prayer
The Vision of Ministers in Prayer
Mar 15, 2002

A gathering of pastors, ministers, and laypeople committed to prayer for revival and for the city of Durham.  We believe that while the church exists in many local congregations, Jesus has only one Church in Durham, and that unity in prayer is essential to its functioning.  We are expressing unity, praying for transformation in the city, and believing God for the outpouring of His Spirit over Durham.

Durham Ministers in Prayer is interdenominational and interracial.  We meet Tuesday mornings at Dayspring Fellowship and pray from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.  You are welcome for prayer.

We have covenanted together not to allow this prayer time to be turned to another purpose (even a good purpose) of promoting other events and agendas.  The ESSENTIAL purpose is and will remain prayer for a unified church in the belief that such unity will be used of God to bring hope, healing and revival to our city.

There are ways to communicate with the church in Durham through our weekly meetings with the guidance and help of our leadership team.   All requests can be directed to Scott McClintock, Director of the Church Operations Center in Durham.

Dayspring Fellowship exists to equip its members in using their God-given gifts, abilities, and resources to fulfill the Great Commission, bringing Christ to Durham and the world. Three qualities that we seek after in the life of Dayspring are: authenticity, community, integrity. Three gifts we seek to offer to ourselves and others are: love, acceptance, forgiveness.
